August 30, 2010... Training Materials

Greetings to you all on this Monday morning (even though I did this Sunday afternoon).

PERSONAL NOTE: First, let me thank Rich Brotemarkle for the very nice song during the Sunday am. service. Very nice ministry, Rich.

I want to thank Curtis Burkhardt and his crew for all of the food we shared at the Rally Day Luncheon. Thanks everyone!... job well done. I also want to thank Jessica for helping with the fellowship prayer.

Don't forget that I will be starting a new Bible study series on the first Wednesday in September. I invite all of you to join me for the study in the Book of Revelation. Bring your Bible... it will be our text.

The Church choir will resume practices on Wednesday, September 8 at 7:35 pm. in the sanctuary. If you want to be a part of it, see Rich.

YOU CAN KNOW THE WILL OF GOD: Take your Bible and turn to Matthew 6 and verse 5 where we see that the text says, " when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites...". God's will is that when we pray to Him, it is to be done in reverence and sincerity, not to just be sen and heard by other people. It isn't a show! It is done in sincerity to God, not for or to men. Guard against hypocrisy in this area... after all, it is God's will!
