May 18, 2011... Training Materials

Greetings to you all on this my post-vacation blog entry!

PERSONAL NOTE: Jan and I got back from vacation late Monday night. We had a great time in Florida where we had great weather (unlike our return home). We spent time in The Villages, Sarasota, and Naples, Florida. Jan and I always enjoy our trips to Florida. We also had our daughter, Angela, join us for part of the time there. We enjoyed the sun and laughed a lot (sometimes at Jan... who is funny!).

I want to thank Miller Baugh for teaching last Wednesday night and Bobby Francis for speaking on Sunday morning. I appreciate your help a lot.

YOU CAN KNOW THE WILL OF GOD: "But grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ." Second Peter 3: 18. This passage has as its focus, growing in Knowledge of our Lord... but the growing is to include grace with that knowledge. Grace is the ability to take what I know about the Lord and His work, and apply it to my life with grace and to share what I know with others in a gracious way. I must avoid a superior attitude when I'm teaching others about the Lord. I must season my speech with grace as I speak with others... you get the idea!
