November 8, 2010... Training Materials

Greetings to each of you on this cool November morn.

PERSONAL NOTE: Before I proceed with the regular blog information I must take time to wish my wife a happy birthday tomorrow. We already celebrated it Saturday... but her birthday is the 9th. Happy birthday, Jan!!!... and many more.

I was pleased with the worship service yesterday. The message was very practical and pertinent to everyone and the choir number was outstanding. Thanks Rich and the Choir!

Once again, I appreciate all of the help with the Lord's table that we celebrated. Many hands make light work. I also want to thank everyone who came out for our Saturday workday. Good job!

Please pray for me today as I will be on Ask The Pastor at 2 pm.

YOU CAN KNOW THE WILL OF GOD: In Hebrews 6 and verse 12 it says, " ... do not become lazy, but imitate those who through patience inherit what has been promised." The previous context was one of talking about false teaching and its results. The Lord wants these people to be faithful in works and love. Take care that you do not become lazy in your attitude toward service. It may be difficult , but it will be worth it all. After all, it is God's will!
