Greetings to each of you on this sunny November Monday morning.
PERSONAL NOTE: I want to thank Gil and Karen Bonno for being our first advent candle lighters of the 2010 Christmas season. Thank you Gil and Karen. We have 4 more candles to go.
A special thanks to Mr. Bud and the Savior Singers for their special music Sunday. Great job kids (and Mr. Bud)!
Did you notice that Ava and Bill Brackett celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary! WOW!!! Boy, what Ava has put up with... I mean, congratulations!
We are about to enter a very busy month, so please remember to read your church bulletins.

YOU CAN KNOW THE WILL OF GOD: In Matthew, chapter 10 and verse 17, the author says, "Be on your guard against men;...". Jesus' statement is in a context of taking abuse from the religious leaders. Jesus points out that the abuse will come because of their connection to him. Today, the lesson would be that some people in power may not like what we do in Jesus name... but that is the price we pay for being the Lord's servants. There are those who oppose the things of the Lord. Know and understand that! The good news is that in verse 26, Jesus says, "So do not be afraid of them.".
