Greetings on this October 19th, Monday morning.
PERSONAL NOTE:
I want to thank everyone who assisted in preparation for the Sunday
worship service. Thank you choir, for the message in song.Once again, a big thanks to Ernie for the wonderful fish fry we were all invited to this past Saturday night. Great job Ernie and Crew.
LEADERSHIP APOLOGETICS: Click this LINK for our 38th apologetics short video. I believe there is much to
learn from these nationally recognized Christian teachers and
philosophers. Today's lesson is "Objections to Christianity", part 7 of 8.
TRAINING THE TEACHER: My intent here is to provide long-term biblical training for those who are
in church work but may not feel adequately trained in the Bible and
Christianity teaching in general. I want all of you to take this
training (whether you teach or not) because it will better equip you to
teach or live as a disciple of Christ. All of the material for this
training is coming to you by Biblical Training.org. I am linking you to
their site for each of the lessons. You will be exposed to some of the
finest Bible teachers in the country. You will receive Bible Institute
level training. Our session here is one of 18 lessons (one each week). This is Lesson 3 of 18, "Exodus" from the module: Understanding the Old Testament with Dr. Paul House as teacher. Click this LINK for the video lesson. Visit their website and see that there are
different levels for your involvement. By registering with them (free), you
can have access to outlines, transcripts, etc. If you choose to do more
than one lesson each week...go for it! Study at your pace!

you
missed any lessons previously, get them this time around.
COUNSELING HELP: The category is Faith 101. Click this LINK for the article:"How can a skeptic believe?". Please also check out the article: When the Healing Doesn't come. Use this LINK. I think that you will find this helpful.
LEADERSHIP QUOTE: "Confidence is contagious. So is the lack of confidence."
Vince Lombardi. Here is a humorous bonus by that great (and now deceased) baseball player and philosopher, Yogi Berra,
to lighten your day: One day, Yogi was asked if he wanted his pizza cut into four or eight slices. His response was: "Four. I don't think I can eat eight." Classic Yogi.
My desire for you this week is that you have all of the confidence that you need.
In His Majesty's service, Pastor Darrell.
