Greetings on this September 22nd, Tuesday morning.

PERSONAL NOTE: I want to thank everyone who assisted in preparation for the Sunday worship service. Thank you Choir for the message in song...I really enjoyed it. Make sure that you welcome our new church secretary, Beverly Bubb.

LEADERSHIP APOLOGETICS: Click this LINK for our 34th apologetics short video. I believe there is much to learn for these nationally recognized Christian teachers and philosophers. Today's lesson is "Objections to Christianity", part 3 of 8.

TRAINING THE TEACHER: My intent here is to provide long-term biblical training for those who are in church work but may not feel adequately trained in the Bible and Christianity teaching in general. I want all of you to take this training (whether you teach or not) because it will better equip you to teach or live as a disciple of Christ. All of the material for this training is  coming to you by Biblical Training.org. I am linking you to their site for each of the lessons. You will be exposed to some of the finest Bible teachers in the country. You will receive Bible Institute level training. Our session here is one of 7 lessons (one each week). This is Lesson 6 of 7, "Word Studies". from the module: Bible Study Methods with Dr. Mark Strauss as teacher. Click this LINK  for the video lesson. Visit their website and see that there are different levels for your involvement. By registering with them (free), you can have access to outlines, transcripts, etc. If you choose to do more than one lesson each week...go for it! Study at your pace!

LEADERSHIP QUOTE: "It's easy to have faith in yourself and have discipline when you're a winner, when you're number one. What you got to have is faith and discipline when you're not a winner." Vince Lombardi. Here is a humorous bonus by that great baseball player and philosopher, Yogi Berra, to lighten your day: One day, Yogi was talking about movies and a certain actor and he said: "Steve McQueen looks good in this movie. He must have made it before he died." Some guys really know how to hit the nail on the head!

My desire for you this week is that you make sure that you know how to get up when you are down.
In His Majesty's service, Pastor Darrell.
