October 10, 2011... Training Materials

Greetings on this great Fall day.

PERSONAL NOTE: I wanted to say that the message series on Men and Women of Faith has been well received by our congregation. Whenever I plan a series of messages, it is always my desire that they be informative, instructive and helpful in your daily walk. Thank you for your responses.

Don't forget the Child Evangelism Fellowship concert/fundraiser here at First Baptist Church. We are hosting this event but CEF is running it. I hope that you will take advantage of the event and show your support.

Sunday at 4 pm. I drove a group of the teens and leaders to a corn maize in Corunna. When the maize was done, we went to the Wylie's home for an afterglow where we played a number of games and ate every thing in site. Thanks Wylie family... we had a great, noisy, funny, and insane time!

Remember me in prayer today as I will be on Ask The Pastor at 2 pm. this afternoon.

YOU CAN KNOW THE WILL OF GOD: According to Colossians 4 and verse 6, God says, "Let your conversation be always full of grace...". In context, the writer is saying that when we deal with non-Christians we should make every effort to be wise in how we talk to outsiders... how we live before them. Be graceful in your speech to them... make sure that your lifestyle matches your words! This is the will of God for you.
