YOU CAN KNOW THE WILL OF GOD: In First Peter 2 and verse 17, the Apostle writes, "Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king." The context of the passage involves submission to the authorities over us. We do this because it is commendable and we are thus following in the Lord's footsteps. Our main priority is to honor God in our daily walk. This is God's will.
