YOU CAN KNOW THE WILL OF GOD: In First Corinthians16 and verse 2 it says, "... each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income...". The teaching here and in other places concerning giving is that we must be able to give to the Lord using the guide, "in keeping with his income. The general rule in scripture is that everyone should give proportionately. As a rule of thumb, for example, 10% of $1000 is $100... but if I only made $100 then 10% would be $10. This is an example of proportionate giving... and it honors the Lord's word. In this example, both givers are doing what is right. What are you doing? I hope it is knowing and following the Lord's will. ADVANCED DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING: Please click on this LINK in order to read and download the article, "Jesus, Religion and True Spirituality...".
