PERSONAL NOTE: I don't know about you, but I felt the Lord's presence in our service yesterday. I really felt that God was working in the hearts of some in the congregation. Let us pray that He continues to do so.
Random Thoughts:
- Remember to pray for me as I prepare for the Ilene Teeple funeral on Thursday. Pray that what I share is exactly what the family needs.
- It was great to have Word Of Life fire up for the new season.
- Our Wed. Bible study in Revelation is moving along well... feel free to join us.
- September 26 is our next attendance builder Sunday...Bring a relative Sunday. Plan now.
- September 27 is my next appearance on Ask The Pastor. It is at 2 pm.
- September 30 is our next Church business meeting.
- FASCAR Event is fast upon us in October 2, 2010!

YOU CAN KNOW THE WILL OF GOD: In I Corinthians 14 and verse 20, the Apostle exhorts each of us to "think like adults". If you read the context very clearly, you will notice that it was written to people who had great confusion about their ministries. Paul is telling them to stop acting like children and start acting as adults. Use your head! Understand the purpose of what you are doing... don't view ministry form a selfish point of view. Ministry is about others, not ourselves (notice the problem area he is dealing with is speaking in tongues). Grow up!
