Greetings and welcome to you all on this sunny February day.
PERSONAL NOTE: I want to thank everyone involved who made yesterday's worship service what it was. Sometimes we don't realize all who are involved in order for the worship service to take place. It takes everyone from the janitors, greeters, sound personnel, office staff, ushers, musicians, etc. All are important to the worship experience. THANKS!
Please remember me in your prayers today (2-1-10) at 2 pm. I will be a panelist on ASK THE PASTOR, which can be viewed on channel 49 (channel 10 on cable). I know that you will find it interesting and maybe even challenging. Pray that we will give good answers that meet the caller's needs.

BONUS BOOK RECOMMENDATION: This month's book recommendation will be more generic than specific. I highly recommend that each serious student and teacher of the Bible have at minimum a good single volume Bible commentary. Please check over a few and get the one that meets your needs. I have several but I like the layout of The MacArthur Bible Commentary. I feel that I can generally trust his material.
BONUS THEOLOGY ARTICLE: Please click on this LINK in order to read and download the article: What Can The Righteous Do? I believe that you will be informed, challenged and moved to action as a result of this article.
YOU CAN KNOW THE WILL OF GOD: If you will turn to First Peter chapter 5 and verse 7, you will read that it is God's will that we cast our cares upon God. It is not God's will that we carry all the cares of this life around with us to weigh us down. He can handle the load... let Him have them.
NEW... ADVANCED DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING: Please click on this LINK in order to read and download the article: The Value of Suffering. I think that you will find it a brain-stretcher. At the minimum it will cause you to think about your circumstances.
LEADERS QUOTE: The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary.
TODAY'S DEVOTIONAL: Please click on this LINK in order to read today's devotional.
I trust that you will have a great week and that your service to the Lord will rate a "well done!".
