October 20, 2014...Training Material

Greetings on this cool, Fall, Monday morning.

PERSONAL NOTE: I want to thank everyone who was involved in planning, preparation for the Sunday worship service. I also want to thank Dave Lester and Bud Myers for going to the Mich. annual ABC meeting in Lansing. They represented our congregation in the business meetings. I also want to thank everyone who went to CRI and helped with the Christian literature...good work!

We will be having one baptism this coming Sunday...I look forward to this.

GRADUATE STUDIES: Ecclesiology and Eschatology...Lesson 2 of 10. Click on this LINK . These are video lessons (they also have an audio version available on the same page).  Lesson 2 of 10 is The Church and Israel: A defense of replacement Theology. This lesson offers a look at a theology position you should know, but that I do not hold...although it is commonly taught. I hold to the view explained in lesson 3 to come.

LEADERSHIP QUOTE: "Live constructively and live optimistically." A. Montapert.  Here is a humorous bonus by that great baseball player and philosopher, Yogi Berra, to lighten your day: "In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is."

My desire for you this week is that you minister with your whole heart.
In His Majesty's service, Pastor Darrell.
