Greetings on this cool but pleasant Monday morning.
PERSONAL NOTE:
I want to thank everyone who was involved in planning, preparation for
the Sunday worship service. Thank you, Teen choir for the special music you shared.
THANK YOU to everyone who made RALLY DAY such a great time! Special thanks to Dale and Sally and their crews for making it all possible. We had a large group that stayed for the lunch and after lunch activities. We even had a line up of people who wanted to see the Pastor get soaked in the dunk-chair...well he did get soaked! A good time was had by everyone who was there.
Get ready now for Back To Church Sunday which is September 21, 2014. Who are you going to call about it? Who are you going to bring out for this great day? Let us each get involved in this outreach effort!
A third Reminder: Please note the addition of a new link in the "Bonus Training Links" area to the left. It is the first one entitled: Handling Addiction - What can You Do? Please
check it out and make it available to those who need it...or post it
somewhere on Facebook (if you use it). This is valuable information.

LEADERSHIP QUOTE: "Every time you get angry you poison your own system." A. Montapert. Here is a humorous bonus by that great baseball player and philosopher, Yogi Berra, to lighten your day: "I never blame myself when I'm not hitting. I just blame the bat and if it keeps up, I change bats. After all, if I know it isn't my fault that I'm not hitting, how can I get mad at myself?"
TODAY'S DEVOTIONAL: Click this LINK for it. Shortly, I will replace this slot with a new category called: Counseling Help.
My desire for you this week is for you to enjoy the ministries that the Lord has given you.
In His Majesty's service, Pastor Darrell.
