February 6, 2012... Training Materials

Greetings on a sunny February morning.

PERSONAL NOTE: I want to thank everyone who had a part in Sunday's worship service. I especially enjoyed the choir number... nice choice of music and good execution.

I want to thank all of the W.O.L. kids and leaders who made the journey to Kindred Spirit in order to share the afternoon with the residents there. We had a great time and experienced God's blessing and we were His hands to the residents. Great job everyone!

Once again, our condolences to the Woodrich family and to our own Jane Baugh in the death of Jane's sister, Gloria Woodrich. God's blessings on you all.

YOU CAN KNOW THE WILL OF GOD: In the Book of Hebrews, chapter 4 and verse 16 it says, "Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence,..." (NIV). The reason we can approach the throne of grace with confidence is because of our relationship to God... specifically Jesus as the Great High Priest. We know that he understands our shortcomings, our temptations, and our weaknesses. Jesus is full of mercy and will help us. This is the will of God.
