November 21, 2011... Training Materials

Greetings to you on this Thanksgiving week. I trust that you will have a very nice Thanksgiving.

PERSONAL NOTE: I want to thank everyone who was involved in the worship service yesterday. Thanks choir , for the great message in song. Thanks goes out to everyone who prepared a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child. I believe the final total was around 122 boxes. What a blessing to kids over seas! GOOD JOB, Church!

Thanks to everyone involved in the Harvest Dinner that we all shared in yesterday. It was a great time of fellowship. A special thanks to all of the kitchen help. Great job people!

YOU CAN KNOW THE WILL OF GOD: In James 1:19 it says, "...Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry," [NIV]. This verse requires very little commentary on my part. If all within the body of Christ would heed the truth of this statement, a great many problems within the Church would be eliminated. Anger causes many a person to fly off of the handle and cause damage which is then not corrected. The lesson here is: watch your mouth!
