Greetings to all of you on this nice summer day in Grand Blanc!

PERSONAL NOTE: I want to thank all of the people who spent a great deal of time "preparing" the Church for VBS! A lot of effort went in to getting ready for Pandamania! I also want to thank the Savior Singers and King's Kids for the music in the Sunday Service. Good job, Kids! Once again, a mighty Happy Father's Day to all of our Dads!!!

SPECIAL NOTE: Remember in your prayers VBS all this week. It should be a great time! Special thanks to Bill Swift and his entire Crew!!! Go for it!

REMINDER: Please lock up the dates for the Summer Concert Series. The handout was in the bulletin Sunday. Take advantage of these days as part of our outreach efforts... that is what they are designed for. July 24, August 14, and Sep. 18. Mark them on your calendar. Who are you going to invite?

YOU CAN KNOW THE WILL OF GOD: In Second Timothy 1 and verse 13 it says, "What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching..." When I was reading this passage I was reminded of how much corrupt and false teaching there is on the radio and TV. Each one of us as Christians, is responsible to check the scriptures to see if what we are listening to is biblical. On of the real problems in the Christian community is a general lack of biblical discernment. Just because you like the speaker doesn't make his words true! When in doubt, check it out! The Word of God has the sound teaching we need. Choose your teachers wisely. This is God's will for you.
