BONUS BOOK RECOMMENDATION: Consider locating a copy of: Jesus and the Gospels by Craig L. Blomberg. It is published by Broadman and Holman Publishers. It is divided into 5 parts. Each part deals with a specific area, for example, part one is :"Historical Background for Studying the Gospels". This book deals with the life and teachings of Jesus. The book is wide-ranging and up-to-date. I know that you will find it helpful.

YOU CAN KNOW THE WILL OF GOD: The will of God fore today is expressed in I Corinthians 15 and verse 58. It says we are to stand firm or be steadfast. The context would seem to indicate that we should stand firm in our work and ministry for the Lord. I believe that is great advice. Conditions should not affect our loyalty to the Lord. We know what is coming therefore let us serve Him with all diligence.
