Dec. 14... Training materials

Welcome to today's blog. I trust that you had a great Sunday worship experience.

PERSONAL NOTE: Right off the bat i would like to thank everyone who was involved in making yesterday's worship service the success that it was... the music was great and the message was right on the seasonal mark. Thanks to George and Linda Hittle for the lighting of the third Advent candle.

Thank you goes out Mr. Bud and Ms. Sue for the music by the King's Kids and the Savior Singers. Didn't they do a fine job. We always appreciate their participation in the services. THANKS KIDS! Hey... the choir had a great number Sunday also. Good job Dee and Choir!

Finally I need to congratulate and thank Mr. Bud and his associates for all of the work that went into the children's Christmas program Sunday evening. I pronounce it a success!!! Thank you everyone! We had a great time... and everyone enjoyed the snacks that followed.

If you took a Cd to distribute for "Operation Share"... make sure that you give it away this week. What a great opportunity to give a gift to someone you really don't know. The seed will be sown!

YOU CAN KNOW THE WILL OF GOD: If you will turn in your Bible to First Peter chapter 4 and verse 15 you will see that the will of God is that no Christian should suffer as a wrong doer. In other words, if you suffer at the hands of others it should be for righteous reasons not sinful reasons. Please remember... this is God's will. It will take effort on our part, but righteousness always does.

LEADERSHIP QUOTE: Leo Tolstoy said, "Everybody thinks of changing humanity and nobody thinks of changing himself." Now that is food for thought!
