September 21... Training Materials

Greetings to you on this dismal Monday morning. I pray that you will have a great week.

PERSONAL NOTE: I want to thank everyone who made yesterdays' service possible. It always takes the work of many people in order for things to go right. Thank you to Sue Warner and the kids for singing in the service. We always appreciate their participation.

On a sad note, I just learned that my youth leader,who was a vital part of my growing-up years, passed away this weekend. She was living in Sebring, Florida. Peggy Hudson Shaleen will be missed by her family and others greatly. Our prayers are with them.

YOU CAN KNOW GOD'S WILL: In I Peter 3:14, we read God's command that we are to have no fear of persecutors. This is God's will for us. One needs to understand that those who persecute can only hurt our bodies, not our spirit. If we pay the ultimate price for our faith, we will only be ushered into the presence of the Lord sooner rather than later. The apostle Paul saw this as a WIN situation. So should we. Always remember that "great" is our reward in Heaven.
