Greetings on this Monday morning of Thanksgiving week.
PERSONAL NOTE: I want to thank everyone who made yesterday's service and dinner such a great success. Thank you Dee and choir for your message in song. Thank you congregation for your support of Operation Christmas Child. We have supplied about 150 boxes for needy children all over the world. WOW!!! What a great thing this is.
A special thanks to all of the ladies and men who were involved in one way or another with the Annual Harvest Dinner at First Baptist. We had a good turnout and a great meal. My table guests, for the most part have forgiven me for having them go last. I have the distinct impression that I will be sitting alone at the next dinner!
Please be aware that there will be no Bible Study or W.O.L. clubs on Wed., Nov. 21. I will wish all of you a happy Thanksgiving. My family will be together on Thanksgiving, grateful to God for all of His blessings. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

I especially enjoyed handing out the baptism certificates to last week's candidates... it was also special to have them stand with me at the end and greet the congregation as we left the auditorium. God bless these kids as they mature in Christ. I also say thanks to Jan Foltz and Dee Wilson for the special music that they provided... great number ladies.

Greetings on this cool October morning. I looked at the area radar map and the clouds we see above are a result of the hurricane in the Atlantic which is approaching. Let us pray that the damage will be limited. This is a big one!

Our church has supported them for several decades now and it was good in Sunday School to get a perspective on all that is done in tribal areas. I want to thank Nikki and our Missions Com. for their faithful work concerning our missionaries.

Thank you to everyone who cooked and supplied the food... thanks to those who put up all of the decorations... thanks to all who ran the games for the kids... thanks to those who entered the contests... thanks to the country band who played outside... It was a great Rally Day!
I want to thank The Thurstons for the concert that they put on for us at 4 pm. It was the last of our 2012 Summer Concert Series. I thought that we had some really great musical talent this summer. If you missed the concerts, you are the only one to blame! Youlost out on some ideal outreach tools.

Make sure that you are present for this great day. We also have a 4pm. concert... the last of the Summer Concert Series, with the Thurstons. They have been here before and you will enjoy their ministry. It will be a busy day... but a worthwhile day!
Please remember that all of our youth clubs will be starting this month... on the 12th at 6 pm. I wish all my best to the leaders as they jump into the fray. We thank everyone who takes the time to invest into the lives of others.

July 30, 2012... Training Materials
Good day to you on this mild and sunny day.
PERSONAL NOTE: Sunday we had missionary guests (the Meads) here while I was at my home Church in Port Huron, speaking during a special homecoming Sunday event. The Lord's timing was on target because the Pastor there had just had a stroke a couple of weeks ago. It was a great time of friends and fellowship as I got to see my brother (Ray) and family, plus several of my cousins and a few long time members of the Church that I remember with fondness (the Church honored two of its long-time teachers). It was a wonderful service with a great luncheon afterwards. A good time was had by all.
I want to thank everyone here for taking care of my Sunday duties while I was away. I appreciate it very much. THANKS!!!

Second, I want to thank the Rob Mills Family for the 4 pm. concert. WOW!!! That was one great concert. If you missed it... you missed some great singing and playing! This is a family I will definitely ask back. Oh, by the way... if you are not supporting the concerts of using them for outreach, I don't understand. This is easy outreach! I also want to thank the Warner family for making the trip to camp to deliver kids and the second trip to pick up kids. This was a mighty task and I (along with the Church) appreciate it. Greetings to you all on this Monday morning.
PERSONAL NOTE: I ask that you continue to remember my daughter, Angela, in prayer for her swift recovery from surgeries this past weekend. We thought her surgery was going to be fairly simple but it turned into every parents worst nightmare. Fortunately, everything was "fixed" and she is doing well in recovery. She may even go home to recuperate later today. Dallas (her dog) will be very glad to see momma.
Thank you to everyone who participated in Sunday's worship service. Thanks Linda for keeping me apprised of what I need to be aware of and thank you Mr. Bud for singing your solo. Thanks goes out to the ladies who prepared the communion set. I appreciate all that everyone does. I also want to congratulate the long time members who received a special flower of recognition yesterday. Your faithfulness to the church and to your Lord is wonderful.

Greetings on this post-holiday morning.
PERSONAL NOTE: I want to thank everyone who was involved in our last Sunday worship service. I also want to thank Jan Foltz (my wife) for bringing a beautiful message in song. Thank you Savior Singers for your special music... we enjoyed it.
Our summer outreach begins with The Gospelmen singing on Sunday, June 3 at 4pm. here at First Baptist Church. Plan now to attend and bring someone with you. They will enjoy it and you will be reaching out. We should have a wonderful time.

Greetings on this very pleasant Monday morning in Grand Blanc
PERSONAL: I want to thank everyone who had any part in the Sunday worship service. Your assistance is always appreciated. Please continue to remember our choir director, Dee Wilson in your prayers. I believe that you are aware that her husband, Jim, passed away on Saturday at home. The funeral will be on Thursday at Swartz.
NOTE: Our first concert in the Summer Concert Series will be on June 3, 2012 at 4 pm. here at First Baptist Church. Make it a point to be there and bring a friend or two. We will have the Gospelmen with us. I know that they will do a great job. I am looking forward to it.

PERSONAL: I want to thank everyone who was a part of the Mother's Day worship service. Thanks to the kids for singing, thank you Dee for your special music, and thank you Sallie for your work on the gift for our mothers. It was a great Sunday morning!
Start praying now for our June V.B.S. program... June 18-22, 2012. It is called, SKY.
June 3, 2012 is our first of four summer concerts. We will start off the summer with the Gospelmen. The concert is at 4 pm. This is designed for our people to invite friends out for a visit and a concert. Use it as a tool.
